Welcoming Jasmine Barratt to HI Commercial

We are pleased to welcome a new recruit to the team at HI Commercial. Jasmine Barratt has joined us from another commercial insurance broker in Scunthorpe and brings with her six years of experience and bags of enthusiasm.
Jasmine joins us as an account handler and is dealing with new business enquiries and assisting our Directors, Luke and Rich, with client renewals and gathering information.
As a Commercial Account Handler, Jasmine will be able to grow her own client base too.

To help you get to know Jasmine, we asked her a few questions.
What are your hobbies?
I love skiing, we go on holiday with my whole family every year, usually to Bulgaria which has great slopes at excellent value. It’s something we have done together since I was 12 and we all look forward to our annual trip.
What music do you like?
I can listen to anything really, although I am big fan of Ed Shearan, I’ve been to see him in concert a few times. I love pop music though, especially Anne-Marie and Mabel.
What is your favourite food?
You can’t beat a Chinese takeaway. I also eat crisps, I could live on them.
Have you got any pets?
My parents have a crazy cock-a-poo. I moved out with my partner but I still see a lot of our family dog.

What are your box set recommendations?
I loved Bridgerton! It took a bit to get into but I missed it when it finished. I also watch repeats of Gavin and Stacey, it makes me laugh every time.
How did you start out in insurance?
In 2015 I finished school after my GCSEs on the Friday and started my job the following Monday.
What are your hopes for the future?
I’m keen to progress in this new role. Joining HI Commercial was a great opportunity for me. I learned a lot with my last firm but a new job title with opportunity to climb the ladder is exciting to me.
Who in the world do you you admire?
It may sound a bit cliched but I really admire my parents. They’ve worked hard and have been able to give me and my younger brother a great life. We are all very close.
Do you have any phobias?
Yes! Cats. I’m terrified of them. I think it’s because you never know what they are thinking. If I see a cat, you can guarantee it will come to me, they know when people are scared of them don’t they!
