Our Directors - Luke and Rich 
Luke started working in insurance in 2012, previously working for Hedon Insurance. He was instrumental in setting up HI Commercial Limited as a new business. 
 
He recently became a Dad for the first time to baby Summer who was born in September 2021. 
 
Luke is a keen golfer and is always up for a round if golf. He’s also a massive fan of Hull FC and Liverpool FC. 
Rich joined Hedon Insurance in 1991 and had been a Director of the business since 2003. Along with Luke, Rich also helped to develop HI Commercial Limited from concept to fruition. 
He is a keen cricketer and a die-hard fan of Hull City AFC. 
He lives with his family in Hornsea. 
 
Commercial Account Executives; 
Pete, Pippa and Alan 
There is always a smile on Pete’s face and he enjoys working with a very broad range of clients. 
 
He can always guarantee to be the ‘most-dressed up’ at the Christmas party too! 
 
Pippa has worked in insurance for more than 30 years. 
She is a huge tennis fan and plays and coaches at Cottingham Tennis Club. She is also a keen collector of antiques. 
 
As a Scottish-Yorkshireman, Alan has made East Yorkshire his home along with his young family. He is also a fantastic salsa dancer! 
 
Angela Hudson, Accounts Manager. 
With more than 25 years’ experience in accounts, Angela enjoys problem solving and has a keen eye for detail. She loves keeping fit and healthy as a runner and active member of her gym. 
 
Mike Ratcliffe, Commercial Account Handler. 
Mike is a hugely popular guy. When we post photos of Mike on our social media, he gets lots of likes and well-wishes from clients and people he’s worked with throughout his career. 
He is also a very good golfer and another die-hard supporter of our beloved Hull City AFC 
Ben Lount, Star Apprentice. 
Ben joined HI Commercial during the pandemic and has been a very valuable member of the team. He is also popular amongst his colleagues having won Star Employee of the Month twice within the first 5 months, as voted by the team. 
 
Jasmine Barratt, Commercial Account Handler. 
As our newest recruit, Jasmine joined the team in 2021 and hit the ground running, helping to win new business and look after our existing customers. 
Jasmine loves skiing and has enjoyed an annual ski trip with her family since the age of 12. 
 
So that’s our team. As you can see we’re a pretty active bunch with a love of sport as well as being passionate about helping businesses like yours.
