We are pleased to be celebrating our first birthday this week.

Our Directors, Luke Byron and Richard Medforth look back over our first year in business... what a year it has been!
Luke Byron

Wow, I can’t quite believe we have been trading for a whole year! It has absolutely flown by.

We’ve made a lot of progress over the last 12 months, developing the brand, moving in to our new premises, sponsoring Hull FC and most recently adding a new member to our team. It’s been a rollercoaster and I have loved every minute of it.

There’s been plenty of memorable moments over the last 12 months but I would say the biggest thing that sticks out for me is moving in to our nice new office at ergo, Bridgehead. It has been a breath of fresh air and gave the business and the team a big boost.

I’d like to thank our new and existing clients for their support over the last 12 months, without you, we wouldn’t be where we are today. I would also like to thank our team for the hard work and the commitment that they show every single day.

Looking forward to the next 12 months I am keen to build on the foundations that we’ve built over the last 12 months and support more business owners in the local area. We are competing with larger national insurance brokers on a daily basis, I’m very competitive and enjoy the competition!

We created our company with the promise to be ‘at your service, at your side – commercial insurance with a personal touch’ and that is what we will continue to do.

Hopefully we can keep on growing and add a few more members to our team

Richard Medforth

Its been a very strange year.  Lots of work to get the business set-up and move all the clients over with the insurers.

It’s a great opportunity for us to deliver to local businesses the service they would want from their commercial broker and we are achieving that. We have seen some enquiries from large local companies, which is great as it shows our name is getting around the area and there have been to be a good number of clients looking to move over to us from other brokers based on the service we can provide them with.

Then Covid hit. We supported our clients as much as we could through the lockdown answering hundreds of queries along the way and providing information about available loans, grants and insurance covers, in essence to help keep their businesses running.
Now that lockdown is easing, most of our clients are coming through the other side and gettting back to almost normal.

I am looking forward to getting back out to see clients again and make connections to support them as their commercial insurance broker ensuring they are receive excellent service along the way.

P.s. As we are all working from home we haven't been able to renew our group photo to include our new Commercial Account Handler, Mike Ratcliffe.
